Pronounced wood spice and vanilla combine with roasted aromas and medium weight, round, supple, delicious flavors and a slightly thick but firm finish. The tannins here also have a slightly worked quality to them but it is nicely complex and displays good power. This is perfectly good but not what it falls short of what it should be from a top grand cru .
